Excess colors increase air resistance and weigh you down. OK, not really, but I did give the Boston outfit a test run today. It just so happens I ended up with all this stuff that matched!
- Brooks PureFlow shoes - best fit for me, the color is what it is.
- Balega socks - my favorite socks found in a color that matches the shoes exactly (!!)
- Athleta PR Tank - love it for the two BIG rear pockets that hold lots of gels and it just so happened to match too.
- Mizuno Inspire Short Tights - my standard running shorts, I don't like floppy ones.

I love your matching outfit! I bet you can sneak in with the elite women's group at Boston with that one :)
ReplyDeleteOOh, it would be fun to hang with the elites as long as I could - I could maybe do the women's marathon pace for a mile. Maybe!
DeleteLove the shoes!!
ReplyDeleteI think you should do a long run in a hot mess of mismatching outfits, to test your theory
I like the way you think! I may just have to do that.
DeleteOf course it's a fact. You feel supah-fly so you go supah-fast!! I have a top that color from Athleta. I may have to send it back though - I hate wearing another bra under it, but it looks tacky when I get cold. How's this one in that regard?
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you that Boston is a GO this time!!
Love the shoes! I just bought my kid a new pair of Brooks last week. It's amazing how your arms muscles pop out when you're not even flexing, woman.
