When I used to get a cold I guess I used it as an excuse to stop exercising. This time, with a long run coming Saturday and a training plan that is working and that I hate to diverge from, I figured I'd just plod along, "do the work". I did some online research and the consensus is that unless you have a fever or significant respiratory impairment, it is OK to engage in moderate exercise. Perhaps it's not the time to set a PR or go all out, but maintaining is fine. While I don't have the same level of energy, I have to admit it's been OK. We'll see, I'm my own lab rat for this one.
